In 2023 the museum acquired 5 (or possibly 6 – watch this space) drawings that will now go on view amongst other works by the aritst in the museum
The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art & UnNatural Museum’s ‘Spare Room’ is the only permanent gallery dedicated to work by the great 20th century artist and occultist Austin Osman Spare (1886-1956) – one of the greatest stars of the Edwardian Artworld – hailed as a godfather to both Surrealism and Pop Art- and perhaps the most signigficant figure in the British Occult during the 20th century.
