The museum’s library relating to objects in its care contains over 10,000 books, a few are available in the gallery for visitors to read, others which have been collected on aesthetic grounds are on display – including ‘Rats for Those Who Care’ ‘Warfare in the Enemy’s Rear’ ‘Fish Who Answer the Telephone’ ‘the Art of Faking Exhibition Poultry’ ‘Sex Instructions for Irish Farmers’ ‘How To Help Your Husband to Get Ahead’ etc
