The Last Tuesday Society invites you for a private screening and talk with artist Magnus Irvin in connection with his current exhibition Welcome to the Fly Club, on view now through September 2017.
Magnus Irvin will present two short films and a fascinating, illustrated lecture concerning the toilets and cupboards he has encountered on his international travels, also briefly talking about the work that he is currently showing in the museum and interesting ways to use corpses for decoration.
Janus Avivson will premiere his new, short film portrait of the artist Magnus Irvin entitled “Magnus Irvin - Artist”
The artist will be available for drinks at the bar both before and after.
Magnus Irvin is an artist. He was born, lives & works in London. His work reflects an interest in institutions such as the seaside, music halls, pub culture, street furniture, ectoplasm & the environment. He works in a wide variety of media including film, printmaking, publications, cardboard, sculpture, live performance & cake. He is interested in self improvement through travelling, fishing, beer & levitation.
