The Last Tuesday Society invites you to join us as we celebrate the launch of L'Heure Verte: Absinthe Hour!
The week long programme of events will commence with our first Absinthe Drink & Draw of the season.
Our model and special guest Datura Katsura from Toronto will be exploring the supposed mind-altering effects of the infamous green spirit in true Belle Epoque fashion with each pose working towards the more visually twisted and unnatural — as if Absinthe is changing the reality of what our drawers are seeing.
Who is Datura Katsura? She's equal parts darling and deviant, grace and ferocity, filth and decadence.
Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of our most charming venue during The Last Tuesday Society's Absinthe Drink & Draw, held monthly during the Society's most curious event programme.
Drink traditionally produced, premium Absinthes whilst testing your hand at life drawing.
Each month features a unique theme and the opportunity to pair your drawing with an absinthe tasting experience.
Channel the influence of this infamous spirit as either a passive flâneur or following in the footsteps of the many nineteeth-century creative minds who gave themselves up to the "green fairy."
You are invited to indulge your creative flare as a true bohemian artiste with the influence of Absinthe in hand.
Société Drink & Draw held monthly from 7pm-9pm.
Optional La Maison Fontaine Absinthe served in the traditional Belle Epoque style for the daring.
£20 Tickets include serving of Absinthe for each guest, drawing materials and life model posing for a mix of short to long poses in an intimate setting. Paper, charcoal and pencils will be provided. Sketch books are encouraged.
